Every year since 2001 a seminar is organized in the Superior Technical School of Architecture of UIC; among the guests, some of the most prominent figures in the world of digital architecture, for example: Bernard Cache, Mark Goulthorpe, Kas Oosterhuis, Lars Spuybroek, Karl S. Chu, Marcos Novak, Evan Douglis, Dennis Dollens, Mark Burry, Mike Weinstock, etc. Among the publications generated by the seminars, the following need to be mentioned: Genetic Architectures/Arquitecturas Genéticas and BCN speed and friction. We also have a Workshop of Digital architecture with last generation software and hardware with which we investigate possible applications in architecture.
